GIFs are the default for tutorial clips and reaction images, but file size gets out of hand fast — a fifteen-second screen recording easily hits double-digit megabytes. The converter exposes the three parameters that matter: frame rate, dimensions and palette size. Dropping to 10–12 fps and capping width at 640 pixels typically cuts the file to a third with little visible difference.
